Since 2008, I have dedicated my office to ensuring that Cook County taxpayers do not pay more than their fair share of real estate taxes. I handle tax assessment issues for commercial, industrial, multi-family, and residential property owners, with representation in front of the Cook County Assessor's Office, the Cook County Board of Review, the Property Tax Appeal Board of Illinois, and the Circuit Court of Cook County.
I received mylaw degree from the DePaul University College of Law, receiving Certificate in Taxation Law. I also received my undergraduate degree from DePaul University with a major in Finance and a focus in real estate.
In 2013, 2018, and again in 2020, I was selected as a Rising Star by SuperLawyer Magazine.
Kathleen has practiced in transactional real estate law since being admitted to the bar in 2012. A graduate of the John Marshall Law School, and Cali award recipient. She joined as of counsel, in 2010. Kathleen's transactional experience is integral to our tax assessment clients who are buying and selling. Her clients also receive the benefit of a tax assessment analysis during the transaction process.
